Your customers don’t care about endorsements from your colleagues, celebrities, or other so-called big names. They want to hear from Real People with Real Results!

Marketing Strategy #3 – Using the words “limited availability” in your marketing creates an atmosphere of urgency for your product or service: It lets your customers know that it’s only available for a limited time. This instantly activates your customers’ buy button, because they don’t want to lose out on a great deal.

Most business owners won’t use these words, because they are fearful of losing customers. This is fear standing in the way of effective marketing.

It takes confidence in yourself and belief in your product or service to market with such strength. Your confidence will result in your customer gaining confidence in you and your business, which is the beginning of a long-term, trusting relationship.

 Marketing Strategy #4 – Get Into the Minds of Your Clients: In order to provide the product or service that your clients want, you must get into their minds. How? Actively listen to them. Ask questions and then listen.

After you “hear” about the problem that they are experiencing, you can provide your product or service to solve that problem. This is the first step in serving your client. When your clients feel that you are listening to them and focusing on their needs, they will grow to trust you. Trust leads to loyalty, and client loyalty drives your overall business.

Marketing Strategy #5 – An effective subject line directs your customers to open your email and buy your offer: However, if you don’t grab their attention with your subject line, then your email will end up deleted or in junk mail just like hundreds of other offers that they receive.

If you get no results from your marketing emails, then you are not giving your customers a reason to open your email. Marketing Strategy #6 – When you use the word “value” in your marketing, make sure it’s the REAL value of your product, service, or offer:  Layout for your customers what the regular investment (the value) would be and then shock them with ridiculous offer. Tell them the savings that they will receive as a loyal customer.

DO NOT use inflated values. Your customers are smarter than that, and that will create distrust in your customer relationships.  Plus this is a way to show your customers how much you appreciate their business by offering them tremendous deals with outrageous values!

Marketing Strategy #7 – Your buyers matter: The people that buy your product or service are the most important part of your business. Without your buyers, you have no business. They are the lifeblood of your business that keeps it alive.

Unfortunately, businesses ruin relationships with their current buyers by focusing on new customers. You’ve seen the horrible first time customer appreciation promotions. This is so disrespectful to your current customers that are loyal to your business.

Focus on your loyal customers that have invested in your product and service over and over again and show them how much you appreciate them.

Success Tip #8 – In order to be successful in business, you must take truthful evaluation of what your customers want: Not what you “think” they want! Actively listen to your customers and ask open ended questions to understand exactly what they want from your business.

Plus don’t try to market to everyone. Evaluate what your loyal customers want and give it to them. Focusing on the 1% of your customers that drive you crazy for products or services that no one else wants will kill your business.

Actively listen to your customers that have supported your business for years and watch their buying patterns to figure out what they truly wants and give it to them.
